在初中英語課堂發展學生處理多媒體任務的能力

此項為期兩年的種籽計劃旨在協助英文科教師設計漸進式的多媒體課業,以豐富校本英語課程第三學習階段的學習單元。所設計的多媒體課業與課程目標及主題互相緊扣,並引導學生學習運用電腦程式。

外籍英語教師區域統籌小組成員將會透過共同備課會議,與參加種籽計劃的教師討論多種形式的寫作單元的設計,例如:共同寫作、過程寫作,以及多媒體文本創作。

 

Multimedia Tasking 2.0 (MmT 2.0) for the Junior Secondary English Classroom

The project aims to engage English language teachers in designing culminating multimedia tasks for modules in the school-based English language curriculum at Key Stage 3 (S1-S3).

The multimedia tasks will be directly linked to curriculum aims, objectives and modules/units, and will involve students in writing digitally and creating multimedia projects using computer software and web applications.

Various strategies for teaching writing, such as shared writing, process writing and multimodal writing/creating will be considered in the co-planning sessions with the support of the Regional NET Coordinators.

 

交換生計劃

本校每年均參與交換生計劃,歡迎交換生到來呂中大家庭,早已成為本校可貴的傳統。今年,加入呂中大家庭的是來自俄羅斯的交換生Igor Kondrich (陸家希)。Igor為人親切友善,他按自己的興趣選修了不同學科。

另外,為了讓Igor和其他呂中學生增加文化交流,他參與了由本校外籍英語教師Mr. Gilbert教授的英語會話課。Igor亦積極跟校內老師和同學,在不同場合以英文、俄羅斯語及廣東話(他正積極學習)溝通交流。

Igor身高1.8m,喜愛打籃球,對運動充滿熱誠。順理成章,參與籃球隊訓練及其他運動項目成為他呂中生活不可缺少的部分。Igor到北京旅行後,更與他的所屬班別——4A班的同學分享旅遊時的相片和短片。總括來說,呂中同學很喜歡和珍惜與交換生Igor一同學習。

Exchange student programme

Our school joins student exchange programme every year. It has been LYC’s valuable tradition to welcome an exchange student into our big family each year. This year we have Igor Kondrich, a very friendly and polite boy from Russia, with us. He studies in several classes, based on the subjects he has chosen. To enable cultural exchanges between Igor and other students, he also joins oral lessons taught by our NET teacher, Mr Gilbert.

Igor, a 1.8-meter basketball player, is always passionate about sports. Practicing with the basketball team as well as participating in different sport events have been an important of his life here in LYC. He also looks for opportunities to interact with different teachers and his fellow schoolmates in different occasions in English, Russian and also Cantonese, a dialect he is eager to master. Recently, he has shared with Form 4A his recent trip to Beijing with interesting photos and videos.  As a whole, LYC students really enjoy every moment spent with Igor.

 

 

本年度通識教育科參加了由教育局舉辦的校本支援計劃,計劃目的為協助教師規劃及推行議題及技能為本的校本課程。踏入計劃第二年,本校在教育局中學校本課程發展組的大力支援下,重新檢視及修訂現有教材,並注入學生自主學習的元素,例如於重點課題引入二重分組法,以幫助學生有效地建構概念知識、提升探究技能和分析能力。

In this academic year, Department of Liberal Studies has taken part in EDB School-based Support Services, which aim to help teachers plan and implement issue-based and skill-based Liberal Studies curricula. In the second year of this project, under the strong support of EDB School-based Professional Support Section, existing teaching materials have been reviewed and revised with elements of self-directed learning included. For example, Jigsaw II grouping is adopted in core topics so as to help students construct knowledge as well as enhance investigative and analytical skills.
