專題研習 Project Learning

專題研習是課程改革的四個關鍵項目之一。學校推行四個關鍵項目，重點是幫助學生發展獨立學習的能力。其中「專題研習」旨在幫助學生培養共通能力及建構知識，這正是新高中課程中，不可或缺的一環。

 

評估方面，本校強調持續性和多元化評估，就學生的研習態度、組內的合作性和蒐集、分析資料的技巧等加以評核。完成研習後，學生亦會就自己和組員的態度評分，分別填寫「自我評核表格」和「同儕評核表格」，讓學生就整年的學習經歷作出反思。

 

除了校內的匯報外，本校認為學生應該觀摩其他學校的專題研習，汲取別人的優點，所以鼓勵學生參加校外機構舉辦的專題研習比賽。本校過去每年均派出八支隊伍參加由香港電腦教育學會主辦的「學習如此多紛」專題研習比賽以及一系列無人機、STEM編程的比賽，分別由不同學習領域的老師帶領。本校曾多次在比賽中獲得全場總冠軍，學生的研習能力得以肯定，老師的付出更是功不可沒。

專題研習組利用多樣而適當的策略，讓學生把握學習機會，提高學習動機，學會學習。

 

Project-based learning is one of the four key tasks in curriculum reform. The key focus for schools in implementing these four key tasks is to help students develop independent learning capabilities. Among them, 'project-based learning' aims to foster students' generic skills and knowledge building, which forms an indispensable component of the Senior Secondary curriculum.

In terms of assessment, our school emphasizes continuous and diversified evaluation, assessing students on their learning attitudes, intra-group collaboration, as well as data collection and analytical skills. Upon completing the research, students evaluate the attitudes of both themselves and their team members by completing the 'Self-Assessment Form' and 'Peer Assessment Form' respectively, allowing them to reflect on their learning experience throughout the year.

Beyond internal school presentations, our school believes that students should observe and learn from the project-based learning of other schools to absorb their strengths. We therefore encourage students to participate in external project-based learning competitions organized by external organizations. In past years, our school has dispatched eight teams annually to participate in the ' Fun with Learning '  Project-Based Learning Competition organized by the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education, as well as a series of drone and STEM programming competitions, led by teachers from different key learning areas. Our school has won the overall championship multiple times in these competitions; our students' research capabilities have been affirmed, and our teachers' dedication has been invaluable.
